This is such a brilliant and fun campaign by the ad agency GREY Group from Barcelona.  The ads are for Pilot Extrafine Pens promoting what super thin lines their pens create.  Great concept!

This is a beautiful hand drawn animation, set to music by Chopin. The short film is an autobiographical tribute by Hyun-min Lee, about a girl and her memories of her mother. I first saw this film a while back and it has always remained incredibly touching.

I just spent a good amount of time browsing through some of Greg Guillemin ‘s work.  It was hard to pick just a few images from his artwork but my favorite images are from his “Secret Hero Life” collection.  I love his spin on pop icons and graphic style.

New York artist, Sun. K. Kwak produces such creative "sculptural drawing" installations from simple, black masking tape. Using intuitive freehand techniques she creates some really cool artwork. Check out the video for more insight on her work and process.

Adam Spizak is an illustrator and designer, and a complete genius in digital art and computer graphics media. This hotel by Mobil Arquitectos in the Lakes Region of southern Chile is amazing. It is built on concrete pillars elevated over hilltops to fully capture its space, light, and skies. From the Refugia Hotel, occupants can experience incredible views of surrounding waterways, wetlands and the Andes on the mainland. The use of materials is beautiful with wood clad ceilings and glass facades that allow for natural light and connections to the environment.

Toyin Odutola, born in Nigeria but grew up in Alabama, specializes in a very unique style of drawing and painting. I love the way she describes her methodology of "black portrait." You can definitely see it in her work.

"Where some may see flat, static narratives, I see a spectrum of tonal gradations and realities. What I am creating is literally black portraiture with ballpoint pen ink. I'm looking for that in-between state in an individual where the overarching definition is lost. Skin as geography is the terrain I expand..."
